SEBASTIEN ROCHE

Sébastien Roche is a French artist born in Lille.
His portraits have featured faceless people consistently since 2010. His primary goal is to trigger the onlooker's imagination.
He was inspired by the 1920s and, particularly, on the “mug shots” of an Australian Police Station. His focus is mainly on body language and the subject's overall posture. His “Sans Visages” (faceless) collection is now well-known all over Europe.

He works in various French and European galleries and he participates with success in many important contemporary art fairs.

Very recently Roche approached a new adventure focusing his creativity on abstract art like a new field of experimentation and freedom.

Margherita Lipinska-acrilico su velluto

LIPINSKA

Margherita Lipinska was born in 1964 in Poland, in 1989 she graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In 1991-92 he continued his studies in Art History in Rome at the La Sapienza University. His works are often large-format executed with acrylic colors on jute canvas treated with highly textured plasters, often engraved and contaminated with the presence of different materials. The presence of the images of classical sculptures is the starting point for the dialogue with the viewer through the language of images that are familiar to him. The gesture of desecration of the classic object is accomplished through a pictorial intervention, with the use of matter and abstract forms of action painting. Numerous galleries represent it, especially in Rome and Milan. Lipinska has solo and group exhibitions to her credit all over the world.
